his collections, but this spring/summer collection has a lot more meaning
associated with it. The Spring/Summer 2015 Elie Saab Haute Couture collection
is a dedication to the rich culture associated with his home in Beirut. A
country that once was festooned in happiness, glamour and passion - Lebanon has
now unfortunately become a part of the crumbling Middle East. ES’s collection
is a tribute to the colorful, rich past of Beirut, and he sure does it justice.
Sparkles, sequins, crystals, and tulip decorative appliques. His pieces are decorated with such refinement and detail. The sheer fabrics with such sophisticated, yet simple, designs make this collection such an eye-pleaser. He also uses subtle floral patterns, feathers, and ruffles designs that make the pieces such flirty, glamorous couture staples.
