Haute Couture Review: Elie Saab's Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

And he does it again! Elegance, innovation, culture are all themes of Elie Saab’s haute couture collections. He has consistently kept the same types of adornments through all his collections, but this spring/summer collection has a lot more meaning associated with it. The Spring/Summer 2015 Elie Saab Haute Couture collection is a dedication to the rich culture associated with his home in Beirut. A country that once was festooned in happiness, glamour and passion - Lebanon has now unfortunately become a part of the crumbling Middle East. ES’s collection is a tribute to the colorful, rich past of Beirut, and he sure does it justice.

Sparkles, sequins, crystals, and tulip decorative appliques. His pieces are decorated with such refinement and detail. The sheer fabrics with such sophisticated, yet simple, designs make this collection such an eye-pleaser. He also uses subtle floral patterns, feathers, and ruffles designs that make the pieces such flirty, glamorous couture staples. Although his collection was a tribute to the past, he still injected a modern twist to it. All gowns had pockets. The frocks all followed a sublte-flared silhouette. The glamour et de prestige of his collection will definitely make Elie Saab a celebrity style and haute couture staple for the upcoming fashion season.

It's A New Classic, Winter 2014 OOTD || TSD Lookbook Chapter VI

Hello beauties!

It's finally my favorite month of the year! Not only does December have happiness, hope, and miracles pervade the air, but it also comes with an attack of bitter coldness. While everyone opts to stay snug and warm inside with a cup of hot chocolate and the fireplace, people tend to forget that the cold can be fought with a sense of fashion as well.

I hope this outfit of the day inspires you to go out this December and enjoy the magical weather!

Fall OOTD - From Classic to Grunge || TSD Lookbook Chapter V

Hello Beauties, and Happy Fall!

Sorry for being so MIA, but lately all my time has been consumed with school, future planning, extra-curricular activities, and Starbucks coffee trips. As I wrap up the second to last semester of my undergraduate collegiate career, it has really been a time for me to look back at all the opportunities I have gotten. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I really just want to say how thankful I am for these opportunities. This weekend I urge all of you to say thanks for whatever it is that you are thankful for, and that you remember the true essence of this holiday.

Anyways, I just wanted to share with you some fall inspired outfits. Thanks to my best friend - Radhika, and wonderful sorority sister - Kendall, I was able to show you some different styles. Hope you guys enjoy the outfits!

Hello beauties!

Only a few people in this world have the ability to inspire, and it is without a doubt that Mrs. Pakistan International 2014 - Zunera Mazhar is one of those few individuals. She is not only a beauty pageant queen, but she is also the founder of the fashion blog Zunera&Serena. Together with her adorable, talented daughter Serena, she explores the world of fashion while balancing out her full time job as a mom and wife and her career with the US Immigration Office. I am not even over-exaggerating when I say this, but her sense of fashion has truly changed my life. She has become one of my style icons.

Hello beauties and Happy Friday!

This past Wednesday, my friend Sam and I attended the Intern Queen Party in NYC. It was hosted by the Intern Queen herself, Lauren Berger, and Ann Taylor. It was a wonderful experience, and I was so grateful to be able to network with big names like US Weekly, Seventeen Magazine, Chanel, the Rachael Ray show, and NBC Universal.

Since this was a fashion savy event, I thought that I should share my outfit of the night with you guys.

Hope you guys like it!
