Only a few people in this world have the ability to inspire, and it is without a doubt that Mrs. Pakistan International 2014 - Zunera Mazhar is one of those few individuals. She is not only a beauty pageant queen, but she is also the founder of the fashion blog Zunera&Serena. Together with her adorable, talented daughter Serena, she explores the world of fashion while balancing out her full time job as a mom and wife and her career with the US Immigration Office. I am not even over-exaggerating when I say this, but her sense of fashion has truly changed my life. She has become one of my style icons.

This past Wednesday, my friend Sam and I attended the Intern Queen Party in NYC. It was hosted by the Intern Queen herself, Lauren Berger, and Ann Taylor. It was a wonderful experience, and I was so grateful to be able to network with big names like US Weekly, Seventeen Magazine, Chanel, the Rachael Ray show, and NBC Universal.
Since this was a fashion savy event, I thought that I should share my outfit of the night with you guys.

This past Friday I went to the Today show's One Republic concert in NYC. It was such a great experience. I finally got to see One Republic - one of my favorite bands, and since I was in the city I thought I might as well dress up for the occasion. So check out my outfit of the day. If you follow me on social media, you know that this past May I vacationed on the Carnival Splendor cruise ship and traveled to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. What a great way to kick off Summer 2014! I have been on several vacations in my lifetime, but I have never been to a tropical area. I, kid you not, I fell in love. The Caribbean is so beautiful. There is a spell of relaxation running through the air on the islands. Ever since I came back, I have been secretly planning a trip back to the tropics. After taking a lunge in Dante's burning inferno this past school year, I desperately needed this vacation. For the first time in a long time, I could just relax and clear out all the stress and tension within me. I knew I had a lot of work to do when I got back, but for those eight days, I escaped into my nirvana.
